Being part of an AFCOM Leaders Lab is like belonging to an exclusive club of elite data center experts. Only the best of the best in the industry are selected from those who apply to attend to produce authoritative reports on key issues facing our industry today and to prepare for the future. Participant qualifications include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Must currently be in a role as an end user and not a consultant, vendor, or service provider to the data center industry. End users are IT and facilities professionals who are directly responsible for designing, building, managing, and/or operating the physical and logical environments for a company that provides infrastructure services primarily to their internal customers. Qualified Leaders Lab candidates will NOT have job roles that include selling or marketing to the data center industry. For example, if you are employed by a colocation or multi-tenant data center, your position must be directly involved in the day-to-day facilities or IT operations of the data center itself.
- Sufficient experience in the industry that provides for meaningful contribution to the Leaders Lab.
- Expertise and a demonstrated deep knowledge of the subject matter for the particular Leaders Lab.
